OMG Brett made it on to Perez.
Weezer was the talk of Twitter last night.
The first big tweetnnouncement came from Brett Gurewitz, head of independent label Epitaph, who tweeted the following:
“Rivers, Pat, Brian and Scott, Welcome to Epitaph homies! FT=W=.”
Soon after, Rivers Cuomo made a follow-up tweet:
“Hey, Weezer is happy to announce our signing to @epitaphrecs and release of new album “Hurley” on Sept. 14.”
Along With Weezer’s upcoming release, Epitaph will soon be releasing new albums from Bad Religion and Social Distortion as well.
Looks like you’re in cool company there, Weezer!
